During the Anglo-Nepalese war of 1814-16 (Nepal lost control of the Darjeeling region and Sikkim to the British); it was in this period and in this place (as it borders Nepal) that the soldiers set up camp by pitching tents.

Recipe
  • Heat  water to boiling point .
  • Put one teaspoon of Tea leaves per cup in the dispenser.
  • Pour boiling water over the tea leaves.
  • Cover the dispenser for 3-5 minutes.
  • Recommend drinking this tea simply as liquor,however some prefer to add Milk and sugar to taste.
  • Stir the Tea and pour into your drinking cup.
  • Relish a strong flavor.
