This summer give in to Iced Tea and its different flavors!

With the arrival of the hot, humid summer, it is time to relax and chill!! Wondering how that is possible with all the sweat and grime? Well, leave it to us at to make the hot scorching summer day – a cool and chilled one. Try out Iced Tea this year! Summer is the perfect time to gulp down your favorite tea in a chilled version. It hardly takes a few minutes to prepare and voila you are all set to relax and enjoy a lazy summer afternoon.
The bottled ice tea that is available on the market is full of sugar and may not be as healthy as the one you prepare at home, and it’s not difficult either.

In fact, with the range of teas on you can surprise your guests with a cool healthy drink to sip while also giving in to the beautiful aroma of your favorite tea! You can use fruits, herbs, mint, and lemon to jazz up your iced tea!
Here are 2 cool Iced Tea Recipes to try out this weekend!

Iced Masala Tea:

Items that you need:

  • Water – 5 cups
  • Cinnamon stick – 1
  • Ginger root – 2 inches fresh (sliced or coarsely chopped)
  • Green cardamom – 10 (smashed)
  • Cloves – 8-10 (whole)
  • Brown sugar – 4-5 tablespoon (can substitute it with honey if you want) {you can cheat and make a sugar syrup if you aren’t counting calories}
  • Chamong Masala Mantra CHA0009 – 2 tea bags (the number will vary depending on the cups of tea that you are planning to make)
  • Mint leaves – a few (required for garnishing)

How to make it:

  • Take a medium sized saucepan and bring the water to boil.
  • Add all the spices and the Chamong Masala Mantra CHA0009 tea bags. Turn off the knob and let the ingredients soak for 5 minutes. ( you can let the ingredients soak for a longer duration if you are a fan of strong flavored tea)
  • Strain the tea and pop into the fridge once cooled.
  • After a few hours, serve in tall glasses with ice cubes.
  • Use the mint leaves to decorate the glass. You can also use lemon peels to garnish this chilled drink.

Lemon grass iced tea

Items that you need:

  • Lemongrass – a few (Chopped)
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Lemon Grass tea HNK003 (Hankow Teas of London) – 3 teaspoon
  • Sugar – as per need
  • Lemon wedge – a few (required for garnishing)
  • Mint leaves – a few (required for garnishing)

How to make it:

  • Boil the water for a minimum of 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Turn off the knob and add the Lemon Grass tea HNK003 (Hankow Teas of London) tea bags and soak it for a few minutes.
  • Add the chopped lemon grass.
  • Refrigerate it until the tea gets chilled.
  • Serve in a round glass and garnish with ice cubes, lemongrass top and lemon wedges and mint leaves.
