Holi Hai, is the call which will soon be reverberating across India as this weekend, Holi, the much awaited festival of colour, heralding the advent of spring, is here. You can prepare this tea using the classic Assam Tea. The flavor and taste with this tea makes the cup of tea just awesome. Ingredients for Kesaria Chai
- Assam tea
How to Brew
- Bring water to boiling point
- Lower the flame to a simmer and add milk and tea leaves
- Stir well
- Then add some kesar strands and boil the mixture for sometime, perhaps a couple of minutes
- Turn off the flame and keep the decoction covered for 5 minutes
- Pour the tea into the cups and add sugar as per taste
- Stir gently and then serve with snacks.
It is a perfect welcome drink for your guests during Holi and it will set the mood of Holi, along with the traditional Holi songs.
